Humans and animals: thousands of years of cooperation

The dog is man's oldest and most loyal companion

No other pet has formed such a close bond with humans and has such a variety of breeds as the dog.

"Like cats and dogs"

Dhe saying goes that the coexistence of two pets does not always go smoothly.

Contrary to widespread prejudice, cats and dogs can harmonize very well with each other and even form close friendships. The basic requirement for this is controlled getting to know each other, a slow introduction of both animals, some understanding and a little patience.

In animal welfare we often experience that many street dogs and street cats give each other support, because they share the same fate: abandoned and alone on the street with the terrible "name": STRAYER

There are many myths about dogs and cats. The idea that these two cannot live together peacefully actually belongs in the world of myth!

Your cat understands you!

For cat people, that's not a question at all. Of course your animal understands what you say.

They not only recognize the voices of their owners. You can also distinguish whether they are speaking to you – or to other people.

The cliche says: We humans are just random can openers for cats and are considered distant, independent and not very affectionate.

But the cuddly tigers actually live up to this nickname. Just like their owners are for dogs and their parents are for children, their owners are an important caregiver for cats.

The cat's behavior when separating and reuniting reveals a lot about the relationship between animals and humans.

In Romania you can find them everywhere. On farms, in abandoned buildings and properties, cellars, countless live on the streets and in the fields. No matter how poor or destitute the people in Romania are, you can find several cats in every yard. The purpose of the cat is to keep the mice and rats away from the property.

Like the dogs, they are usually fed on leftover food from people.

My foster children

MINU - bipod

A dog with incredible willpower

After a long ordeal MIN both legs were amputated, thus saving her life.

MIN

does not feel like a dog with a disability. She is a completely normal dog, she is “only” missing two legs.

She can walk upright and is a happy, very playful dog

and happy bitch.

Marie - paralyzed and yet very happy and content

Marie came to me as a puppy. The family no longer wanted to keep her because of her disability.

Lt. According to the family, Marie was attacked by the neighbor's dog and was seriously injured.

Marie is a very confident dog, she loves her life, is happy and content. She radiates incredible calm and strength. She is my haven of peace!

Blind Grandpa Lockie

Locki was surrendered by his owner to the public animal shelter in Mangalia. Blind, old and small, he had no chance of surviving there for long. I brought him to me.

Locki also suffers from old age heart disease.

The old age heart is the colloquial description for heart failure that occurs in old age.

Due to heart failure, the heart was no longer pumping enough blood into Locki's circulation. As a result, the body was no longer supplied with enough oxygen.

Grandpa - Locki now gets his medication every day and I really hope that he can do his rounds around the farm and in the garden for a long time to come.

SWEETY - A beauty, impeccable character, incredibly smart and docile

She came to me as a puppy with her two siblings Speedy and Samba.

Sweety has a congenital adhesion between the intestine and the uterus and cannot be castrated due to this birth defect.

Sweety means a lot to me. Without them our yard wouldn't be so colorful and tidy.

Sweety likes order - everything that is lying around is put away by her. If you don't want to search, you have to follow Sweety's house rules :)

Memories that touch our hearts are never lost!
