buntes classroom
Media is playing an increasingly important role in children's everyday lives. However, the focus is on digital media such as cell phones or computers. Dealing with conventional media is mostly foreign to children.
A personal letter is something very special, almost like a gift. Our “Colorful Classroom” project is intended to teach children here in Germany and Romania how to write a letter without electronics.

Author: Maxi Haberstroh
Our THANKS go to our long-time animal lover Maxi Haberstroh for the wonderful gesture of donating 18 copies of her children's book to us.
She is the heart and soul of the animal protection association “RespekTiereLeben e. V.” We greatly admire and respect their tireless animal protection work, their constant willingness to help and their good nature.
The idea behind it is that the school children in Romania translate the book into the Romanian language. It's certainly a big challenge, but it helps them in a certain way to deepen their German knowledge and have fun doing it. And who knows, maybe the Romanian edition of the children's book will even be published. The future will show.
We are very happy about this wonderful gesture and thank Maxi and the animal protection association RespekTiereLeben eV from the bottom of our hearts for the trust they have shown and the wonderful support. We would also like to thank Professor Ionut Banea for the commitment and care he shows to all the school children. He is a great figurehead for the school.
We hope that this book will give the animal-loving people living there - especially the children - some inspiration.
to advocate for the welfare of animals and to express their opinion to those who
deny animals a species-appropriate life.
Books are not only educational but also imaginative - the starting point for our blossoming imaginations, where we can be whatever we want.
Education is also necessary to appreciate and treat animals and our world well!
Social contacts are extremely important for children's development - the more diverse the contacts, the better. Pen pals that cross national borders in particular can contribute to children's personal development. In this way, they learn a foreign language, or at least parts of it, while playing.
With this project we want to kill two birds with one stone: through the exchange of letters, the Romanian children can improve their knowledge of German, and the German children are given a look beyond their own noses.
The campaign is intended to make it clear that consumer goods are not necessary to bring joy.
