Generations - Living

Generations - Project

This is what we care about: To find many people who dare to follow our path to overcome social problems

or not to let it arise in the first place. Live together actively, learn from each other and be there for each other!

REMEMBER

WIR

BECOME

ALL

OLD

That we want to live as long as possible, but don't want to be old – that’s the quote from Jonathan Swift has been true since time immemorial.

Generational solidarity

After all, young and old can learn a lot from each other. The young people are open to the constantly new ideas that are offered to us through the media.

The older ones see through the whole circus and can use their experience to filter out what is valuable and what probably belongs in the trash can.

This makes an increased exchange between generations all the more crucial to us.

Together instead of next to each other - With this motto, we pursue the goal of counteracting generational conflict and promoting generational exchange by bringing families together.

Through mutual exchange, our courage to approach each other openly and by appreciating the differences between young and old, the generational conflict can certainly be counteracted to some extent.

Project with a future

Our project has potential for further development.

It is a multi-generational housing project where dogs and cats also have their place

will find.

We want to create a residential community that promotes individual development and mutual respect.

Young and old under one roof – that creates a special quality of life for everyone.

This is how we take action:

We offer

Own residential units

at stable rental prices

We offer

Social participation

and social contacts

We promote

Intergenerational cooperation

We offer

Opportunity for volunteer work

Back to living like before

What was once normal is now a real rarity. Nowadays, however, intergenerational cooperation can also be implemented outside of one's own family. This is made possible by so-called “multi-generational living”.

For many, multi-generational living seems to be the best solution for the future.

Why living under one roof is enriching for young and old

The basic idea of this project is: All generations should benefit from each other. For example, older residents can look after the children and the young ones can go shopping and repair things around the house.

There are no fixed rules or processes, but regular contact between all generations can ensure that the quality of living increases through constant new ideas.

The cooperation has to be right

On the one hand, it is relevant that all residents want community and are interested in exchange, encounters and togetherness. On the other hand, the structural framework must also be in place so that the different needs of the respective phase of life can be taken into account. That's why it's easier to plan and implement such a project from scratch.

Our vision for the future:

Live together actively, learn from each other and be there for each other!
